Effectiveness of boycotts is measured by how much media coverage they get. Because the 1% dent in their sales is usually not enough to stop a successful business. The media coverage coverage used to be the main way this worked. There are probably some internet era examples too. I hope. I can’t think of any, but I assume.
People get upset when you say standing in a street with a sign won’t do anything, but standing in a street with a sign won’t do anything.
These guys won’t even do town halls any more. They’re not going to pay attention to paper signs on sticks.
