Good luck disproving that. I lived in Indiana, Wisconsin (both great people) and Tennessee. The south needs to suffer for the Union to be redeemed, good luck denying your region’s fundamental evil. This is like saying ‘we shouldn’t fight the nazis, we should try to work with them for change’, and by like I mean literally is the same. Do you remember the last time we dealt with the south properly? We got the progressive era. They will stab us in the back, and betray us to the oligarchs, because what they want is cheap and petty, the best political capital there is.
