  • I’d be down for this if it was sized appropriately to be conveniently held in one hand.

I bet this is delicious but I’m turned off by the size. Its just unwieldy and likely falls apart into a mess.

This is a bad example, but I think the McDonalds double quarter pounder is about as big as a burger should get. Any bigger than that and I’m not likely to order it no matter how good it looks.

Clearly I don’t like to be messy. Lmao

  • Fiber and a fuckload of Kefir/Greek Yogurt literally reset my digestive system. No woo, pseudosciency bullshit. I just figured I needed to do something and knew fiber was good and the bacteria in greek yogurt was good for gut health. Shoveled that shit down my gullet for a week and it literally fixed me. I thought I had IBS as I had terrible bathroom experiences for over ten years. That era is over. Gotta stick with good dietary habits moving forward though.

  • Fair question.

To me, the run is what kickstarts my motivation to do anything with my day. Days/weeks where I can’t run, like this past week for me (minor back/hip related pain from overdoing it in my first ever curling games last weekend) make it really hard for me to do almost anything. I’ll want to do something, like play guitar or video games but the moment I sit down to do them I’m just completely meh about it, putting me at risk of doom scrolling or some other waste of time.

When I run, I feel more alive than at any other time and that feeling carries through the day and affects everything I do. Its one of the biggest positive forces in my life.

You don’t have to go hard either. A 10 minute easy wake up run is unfathomably more effective than a coffee for me. That said, I drink a lot of coffee too. Haha.

I never thought I’d be a runner. Ever. I laughed when my wife asked me to go for a run the first time. I’ve been running for three years now. I was averaging 45km/week last year and aim to run my first marathon this summer. It had a snowballing positive effect on almost every aspect of my life so I’m 100% dedicated to keeping that ball rolling.

  • What’s wild is that YouTube has become the most positive place for me on the internet lately. The algorithm is so tightly curated towards my interests in music, technology, arts, etc… I don’t allow anything but topics related to my hobbies to exist on my algorithm. It’s truly awesome to know that Youtube has the capacity for greatness if you engage with the algorithm curation tools and stop engaging with content you don’t want to see.
