This is just his left hand paying his right so he can claim Twitter’s value is comparable to what he initally paid for it. He’s getting fixated on people talking about his losses again, and is getting ready to call someone a pedo on main again.
Anarchism accounts for them just fine. The solution is to kick them out of society.
It’s just a damn shame that we’ve all proven to be cowards and unwilling to do it.
the income of wealthy individuals is not used purely for the fulfilment of their needs and wishes
You need to understand wealth as power, and the wishes of the wealthy being to exercise that power over others.
Their role in “allocating resources in society” is controlling the resources of society. But what is “rule” if not “control of the resources of society”? What is democracy if the rich have all of the power over society.
It’s a damn lie, is what it is.
Taxation is a demand by the demos to control the resources of society. That is, it is a demand for democracy.
Which means the rich can allocate themselves into a fucking hole, stuff their heads up their own asses, and suffocate.
Gotta go further south this time. Warching Mar-a-Lago burn will be fun.
My understanding, though, as a Canadian, is that refusing to sell Jack Daniel’s is over-stepping, and that they have the unalienable right to be on whatever privately owned shelves and sold in whatever privately owned facilities they wish, regardless of threats made to autonomy or safety.
100%. The people who have turned away from the Republican party have only done so out of a distaste for Trump, and maybe Elon. They are almost certainly not opposed much of what is being done, just how they are going about it, and who is doing it.
Or, they’ve just had their faces eaten by leopards, and are upset that they’re suffering the consequences of their actions.
You don’t get to be a Republican in 2016 or 2024 without being ok with burning the whole system down, with dreams of it being to your own benefit. They just don’t trust the current would-be monarchs to be the ones to actually give them what they believe they’re due.
They also had their god emperor refusing to wear masks, and political leaders openly denying the disease.
They had support for their grievences.
They won’t get that over the economy. Instead, they’re getting “this is necessary” and “you’ll just have to make some sacrifices for the economy”.
No, it has been. There hss just been disagreement on who is considered “the people”.
Oh yeah, the American Empire is over. By the time anyone else is willing to trust the US again, it will no longer be important enough to care about its hissy fits.
Oh, as if people will remember shit. A lot of voters apparently forgot that they’d already had Trump for president. The shocked-Pikachu faces have been beyond bizarre this time around.
The showrooms are still standing, so I don’t think the Yankees are protesting hard enough.
They should call the French.
Trump may not be aware of P2025. Not because he hasn’t been told, repeatedly, about it, but because he has the awareness of a pile of sterilized garbage.
They call it a ‘Boston Left’ for a reason.
He creates shareholder value. That’s all that publically trades companies do. It’s their goal.
Everything else is just ways they attempt to do that, and someone like Elon does it with hype, since the agencies that are supposed to prevent such nonsense abandoned their responsibilities a long time ago.
Tesla stocks are now a ponzi scheme. At some point, someone’ll be left holding the bag.
I mean, most of the communities are on .world, and if they’re not federating with .world, they’re just not going to show up in the majority of comment sections.
But also, HB is much more of a communal space than most of the big instances, and much more aligned on how they engage with off-site content. And as the fediverse grows horizontally, a significant part of it probably going to be through focused instances, rather than more general purpose sites. We have those covered already, and most of the people interested in something like that aren’t going to leave Reddit anytime soon.
They have what they want.
This means there will be more “we don’t want to host this kind of content” discussions over time, not fewer. The fediverse will look more patchwork, not less.
Going to get Nuralink to market, though.
There is no “here” here. They’re being removed on some websites, and not on others.
Also from that post.
There is no such thing as liberalism — or progressivism, etc.
There is only conservatism. No other political philosophy actually exists; by the political analogue of Gresham’s Law, conservatism has driven every other idea out of circulation.
There might be, and should be, anti-conservatism; but it does not yet exist.
What a weird way to spell “timbits”
