I just wish all these protest movements would come together and ask our old allies for funding. We can fix it. Its hard and a lot of work, but sustained effort from three generations and we could fix everything. Thats not even that long in the grand scheme. But nah, let’s keep giving the suits heavy wallets while they destroy everything. Yeah, that sounds good.
A lot of our citizens have felt that way for decades. The only way to change it is to remove the money and lobbyists from politics. So in other words we are fucked. The sickness has long set in. The mass deportations will trigger shortages in just about everything (business owners love cheaper and exploitable labor). With this massive hole in the workforce and no way to stop the bleeding we’ll see a return of child labor (already seeing this in Florida). Now this will allow them to lower pay even more by justifying it with bs like “they’re just kids”. Which in turn lowers the pay for everyone in that field as they now have to compete with fractional child wages. You’re right, its a gift and feast to the richest the world has to offer. But you want to know something? Its not going to go the way they planned. Their imaginary wealth rides on all the invisible strings keeping those stock prices high, and a lot of those invisible strings are tied to us (workers) as a whole.

Citizens United is a cancer that should have never been allowed to take root. Very obviously undemocratic and its only purpose it could ever have was to discredit the vote and say of the American People.

We’re 2 months in and though I’m not a part of it I know there are hidden chats out there planning rebellion because there are public chats out there planning massive protests. Their grip isnt as iron as they’d like you to believe. Yeah its gonna suck. Its gonna fucken get lovely people killed. But this is what happens when those that rule claim ultimate authority without having to hold ultimate responsibility. Its been a long time comin’.
