When special holidays come up and I want to indulge in some top shelf flower or concentrate then I hit up WNC-CBD I don’t know what their secret is but they grow some of the best fucking fire i’ve ever had with the indoor living soil stuff. I fully intend to grab some stuff from them in a few days to bust out for 4/20.

The number pad only ever became relevant to me after decades when I began playing video games that have more keybindings than I have brain cells. Caves Of Qud makes use of basically the the whole number pad just to manually move in 8 different directions.

I was going to say it sounds like linux mint would be your dream OS its stable and bullet proof. Download everything through package manager if you really need up to date program flatpaks or appimages have you covered. Never have the computer force an update on you or change things around again. Both my elderly parents use LM every day for years not one complaint after I set everything up for them with like web app shortcuts to banks and stuff. I think youll like it, modern linux is so much better than years ago its unreal. Look for a cheap used thinkpad if you a laptop user.

In the winter my home can go down into the 40F-50F range with all available heating running on full. Even with electric blankets its better to layer up with thermal underwear, hats, coats, three layers of pants, and gloves.

My mom says she can’t stand a bunch of fabric on her which I guess is fair. I personally can’t stand freezing to death while I sleep myself so its a fair trade.

Terp chasing can be its own journey of discovery. If you haven’t yet you can try setting device low to 350f, take a few hits, bump it up 10 degrees, take another few hits, do that all the way up to 420f. Yes first fresh hit cycle is always tastiest no matter what though.

From what I understand the crafty is more powerful than the electronic portable I’m rocking. I think it would be plenty good enough! Great to hear you got it on sale, even better value proposition gain that way.

If the vapor its producing and the way the device handles jives with how how live your life then you are at the top of the game as far as I’m concerned.

Vapor heads go on about ‘end game’ with ball vapes and super expensive portables like TM2 and the newest conduction+convection hybrids and the artisian vapcaps. Its all cool stuff that offers its own rituals and experiences, but at the end of the day your heating up plant matter just enough for the oils to evaporate. It doesnt need to be any more complicated than torching at a 20$ glass straw with a herb chamber to achieve what some people want out of a vaporizer.

How do you like the ‘vapor’ compared to just smoking? Flavors any different? A little easier on the throat? Your bud lasting a little longer?

Not sure if crafty comes with its own Water Pipe Adapter (WPA) to plug into your bongs and dab rigs, if not there’s some 3rd party ones like glass and wood

Dosing in terms of edibles and eating ABV raw you want to eat at least a few grams. I would save up at least a full shotglass of ABV before throwing into a single serving meal. Maybe measure out 3.5-5g and see what that does for you. If you want to make oil save up more like a mason jar worth.

Dose as in herb chamber? Its relative unless you got a sensitive scale that can measure hundredths of a G. You can consider a full herb chamber in the device to be a ‘dose’ for reference. You should scale it but the crafty most likely holds between .10-.20g per chamber if you fill it up with herb but I’m guessing.

Dosing size differs by device and herb chamber capacity. Some vapes are ‘macrodosing’ where you can cook an entire G at once, some vapes are ‘microdosing’ one hitters where you can only fit in like .05g per hit.

You’ll eventually figure out approximately how many crafty bowls will get you where you need to be. You can also fill the chamber half ways to microdose it helps with draw airflow too.

I think I used a pax 3 as first vape years ago. Off the top of my head IIRC: Pax has

• proprietary charger not USBC

• built in battery that you can’t easily swap when it degrades

• strange magnetically fixed herb chamber on the bottom that doesnt cook evenly

• a wierd flashing led light indicator to tell you the state of your device and three preset heat options instead of proper temp controls with exact values and configurable heat zones

• a mouthpiece that isnt 18mm/14mm/8mm glass insert compatable (I think?)

The pax is an ancient and overpriced vape that hasnt innovated in over a decade. Theres a whole new world of competion. Vapcaps, convection+conduction hybrids, injection ball vapes. When your pax gives out do yourself a favor and look at other options like the arizer solo 3.

Yes you absolutely can. Mix it with yogurt, put it in blender with a fruit smoothie, spread it over some toast and nutilla. Put it in pill capsules and lock down a dose.

Process it into cannaoil, cannabutter, or tincture. Use that to make edibles, or you can pain relief THC topicals with menthol, some of whatever natural essential oils you buy into, and a touch of lidocaine for your elderly relatives.

The golden brown substance that will build up in your mouthpiece is pure reclaim oil similar to what you get with dabbing concentrate. You can make stem milk if you feel comfortable putting the glass mouthpiece in simmering milk. You can also use a hairdryer and try to drip it out as a lesser quality reclaim dab.
