USPS is required to deliver to every address in the country. If this goes through, it will be like the ISPs, and people in areas where mail delivery doesn’t turn a profit will get screwed. There are people out there using USPS for critical things like delivery of medical equipment or supplies.

We aren’t that far off from everyone’s clothes looking like NASCAR suits like in Idiocracy.

Problem is there is no telling what kind of backend microservices a website may be using unless you’re literally a developer of the website. There are so many things AWS does besides just web hosting. You might be able to tell, for example, that some http server is using Apache or Nginx software, but there’s no way to tell how the backend database or authentication systems do their thing.

It’s really not that hard to boycott Amazon, at least their store. There’s an entire Internet full of other shopping sites available. AWS is a different story though, since a huge chunk of the Internet runs on it and it’s not easy to tell which online services use it.

It’s a woman, and she’s a Dem mayor. That’s what has me confused. DC the city is not a GOP-friendly place. It’s a separate entity from the federal properties such as Congress and the White House.

DC Police are under the control of the civilian side of the city, presided over by Mayor Muriel Bowser. How the fuck are they just being turned into the Trump admin’s henchmen? They have no business handling federal affairs.

Just like they were “fighting for freedom” by invading Iraq, a country that didn’t have shit to do with the 9/11 attack or anything else going on at home at the time? Even after it was known they lied about “weapons of mass destruction”, people still signed up to be sent over there.

They just need to find the right kind of propaganda to justify going into Canada, and then the meatheads will follow.
