Huh, mine have been totally fine, but I got a very late model, I believe around October or November. Perhaps they fixed it.

Here’s your answer:
My friends and I categorically refuse to visit states in red. During the pandemic, their refusal to use masks and vaccines resulted in their hospital capacity reaching critical conditions, and they had to export a ton of their sick and dying to Washington and Montana, among other states. This deferred care for resident cancer patients in those states.
Guess how they thanked the states that bailed their asses out come November 5th? If you guessed “crushing tariffs”, you guessed right.
There are a few good souls there, but they have a disproportionately high number of extremely evil people.
Just get a Motorola phone, the stylus 5g has a micro SD and headphones jack for $250 on sale. I got one after I broke my last Samsung phone, and I was pleasantly surprised coming from S and Z series phones.
Clothes are a social construct!
I’m so glad I got my second ebike battery before the idiot did this shit. RIP the economy, the job market, and the housing market.
Yeah, Nintendo is smoking unfiltered crack, lol. Who the hell has $80-90 to throw at every game in the midst of an unnecessary economic downturn and possible worldwide meltdown?
Yep, history is always important. Books on history also help you find solutions to today’s (annoyingly recurrent) problems, too.
DC is interesting in that it was a great mixing area because of all the postwar army bases. WW2 allowed many rural people from all walks of life to mix together, and people who were gay/bi/lesbian+ all had the chance to mix together for the first time in…well…perhaps ever, for everyone from small town Kansas to big city NYC. That opened doors for a lot of our ancestors.
And ironically, the lavender scare is what later precipitated into the gay rights movement, when everyone got sick of mandatory butthole inspections at work, and started suing and winning. (Embellishing a bit, but you get the gist)
This literally happened in the 1954 Lavender Scare. Coworkers could report you for being a “security risk” and you’d be fired because they assumed you were a lesbian.
It’s why we have pride parades, to exercise that muscle and stamp out the fear of “otherness” in society.
You can buy spike strips and caltrops, just fyi 😇
That, and gold actually has properties that make it useful, like not oxidizing and being a good conductor. It still has value even if it was otherwise worthless as a currency
Okay, this isn’t about the BS arrest, but if you are taking 30+ minutes to unsuccessfully take a shit:
Get yourself a Fleet enema, it will make you shit like a horse in 10 minutes, guaranteed. You can find them in drugstores and it will leave you clean.
Two, you really should be eating at least 30g of chia seeds a day, they are high in fiber and will help avoid bowel-distending events before they start. Put them in a smoothie or on yogurt. Or take metamucil if you can stand the taste.
Three, you should talk to your doctor about distended bowels and profound constipation. If you aren’t taking a shit for a few days to a week, you might be damaging your colon, which is bad on many levels.
Disgusting. They’ll have to burn the furniture afterwards, knowing Vance. We know what he did.
That should be illegal, Jesus.
A lot of the top movies got mixed reviews from friends and family. I saw some that were meh. Hope next year has some better ones.
My favorite is P. Barnes explaining to a sovcit how he isn’t getting into the courtroom, and the sovcit just won’t take no for an answer and ends up getting himself arrested…again.
Trust us, we know. The educated ones, at least.
It would be hilarious if it weren’t for the 75m Americans being sacrificed because of these idiots. If it just affected morons who FAFO, it would be a bit more lighthearted.
All the terrible shit I was predicting would happen when I knew he was going to run again has come to pass. Worse than my predictions, actually. But this was one of the ones I feared. :/
That’s a beautiful room, I love the starry theme! I also like the cat poking up from the crib :)
