My Hispanic in-laws had to go to the states to take care of some elderly family, and they said the Spanish translations of what he’s saying make him sound much smarter than what he’s actually saying in English. Like they change the words, use proper grammar and the tone of voice doesn’t come through the translator.

Not saying this is an excuse in any way, but I thought that was interesting.

There’s millions of young people who are just starting to pay attention. We continue to point out the hipocrasy for them. Lest their only point of reference come from the conservatives.

Yeah that was my source as well. But there’s some CCTV footage that appears to show the plane moving upside down much faster than taxiing speed, so seems like it was just a rumour.

This is completely unverified, but I heard it happened while the plane was taxiing. Just a freakishly strong crosswind picking up a light plane.

As a non American, maybe someone can help clarify something.

My understanding is that executive orders only apply to federal agencies. So does this just mean that cafeterias in federal office buildings will need to use plastic straws? And restaurants / stores are completely unaffected by this?

I mean, there’s only so many hours in a day. Overwhelm the shit out of scotus.

I’d rather do that through long term economic policy, and not because there’s a fire under our feet and we have no other choice.

Not to mention the private investigators he’ll hire to follow you and your family’s every move.
