I agree with all that.
I agree with all that.
Who? The non-voters? They’re not exactly innocent victims in this.
Yes, both parties let them down, but those were the option and one was clearly going to do more harm.
Edit: I recognise there were legitimate barriers for some but I have trouble believing that was the majority of non-voters
Also keep in mind that a lot of people get shafted by both parties and have given up.
I don’t blame them.
I don’t blame them for feeling shafted, but they do share the responsibility for the current state of things.
And that’s why you’d never be the richest person. Think about the qualities that lead one to become the richest person on earth. Really think about what that title represents. It’s an unfathomable amount of wealth. Any sane, compassionate person would have funneled that into charity work and the well-being of others.
You see what I’m getting at?
He’s so sad, it’s kinda remarkable. He’s like the epitome of a narcissistic billionaire CEO.
The insecurity is palpable. I sincerely hope this will be remembered and studied.
…do you not care?
House Judiciary ChairJim Jordan said he briefed President Donald Trump over the weekend about his panel’s plans to examine how the federal judiciary is working to block key parts of the administration’s agenda.
Is anyone else seeing “ChairJim”? Is this not rendering properly for me or does no publication proofread anymore?
Two days later—Thursday—at 4:28 p.m., I received a notice that I was to be included in a Signal chat group. It was called the “Houthi PC small group.”
A message to the group, from “Michael Waltz,” read as follows: “Team – establishing a principles [sic] group for coordination on Houthis, particularly for over the next 72 hours. My deputy Alex Wong is pulling together a tiger team at deputies/agency Chief of Staff level following up from the meeting in the Sit Room this morning for action items and will be sending that out later this evening.”
The message continued, “Pls provide the best staff POC from your team for us to coordinate with over the next couple days and over the weekend. Thx.”
The term principals committee generally refers to a group of the senior-most national-security officials, including the secretaries of defense, state, and the treasury, as well as the director of the CIA.
There was another potential problem: Waltz set some of the messages in the Signal group to disappear after one week, and some after four. That raises questions about whether the officials may have violated federal records law: Text messages about official acts are considered records that should be preserved.
“Under the records laws applicable to the White House and federal agencies, all government employees are prohibited from using electronic-messaging applications such as Signal for official business, unless those messages are promptly forwarded or copied to an official government account,” Jason R. Baron, a professor at the University of Maryland and the former director of litigation at the National Archives and Records Administration, told Harris.
It predates YouTube and would loop forever.
I think the screenshot removed your link?
“wouldn’t it be more suspicious to have an account with almost no activity?”
I hope not…
Exactly! These stories need to be heard, especially by those who can still stand to learn from it.
Hey now, sometimes I can use the momentary boost of hearing these stories.
Struggle to empathize? I’m reading this with glee.
Also factor in that a lot of folks abstained because they know their state is already blue or red, and at least, in the swing state I live in, the turnout was actually very high.
I see your points overall but this one seems meaningless to me. This is the kind of apathy that got you here. Even if they’re guaranteed to win any percentage of voters they lose is ideally one they’ll appeal to next time.
I would love to really give 1,2 Switch a try, but I never will.
