No, probably not unfortunately. But if you had all listened to the people sounding the alarm about the democrats years ago that might have worked. If you all hadnt spend so much energy attacking undecided and pro palestine voters a year before the election even happened, and instead directed some of that energy into pressuring the democratic party, whoch was what the whole undecided movement was about, then maybe the democrats would have changed direction and not shifted so much further right and lost the election because of it. Your constant apologetics for terrible party leadership is causing you to lose any small influence you may have had. But also yes, its probably worth getting a 3rd party going at this point even if they aren’t immediately viable, because you’ll never see meaningful change otherwise.

Well thats incredibly reductive and disingenuous. I never said the people weren’t to blame, but theres a whole lot of really annoying people running around acting like the whole election is the fault of uncommited/palestine protest voters, and the democrats are blameless and ran a perfect campaign. Out of those two groups, there’s only one whose actions actually could have altered the outcome of the election when you take it down to the numbers, and thats the democratic party. Setting aside the fact rhat they implicitly have blame because its their only job to convince people to vote for them, they still wouldn’t have won even if every single protest voter had voted democrat. But even if that werent the case, the career politicians bear vastly more responsibility for the outcome of elections than any individual person.
So why do this now? Doing it back when they had power would have been a lot more meaningful. Or actually doing literally anything to improve peoples lives. But doing it now is just an entirely empty gesture to try to win back peoples support that they dont deserve in any way.

In what way? Alberta is politcally basically the polar opposite to my beliefs, and is holding the entire country back. California is still not nearly left enough for my tastes, but aside from some outlying rural areas generally is much more favorable to my political views. With the exception of trade barriers and the fact that money going to california still impacts the US GDP, generally speaking Id rather give my money to people with similar beliefs as myself, especily if those people are trying to take a stand against trump/other fascist politicians and not licking their boots and huffing oil fumes like danielle smith.
