Respectfully, despite what your former despot has done, I do not believe you deserve punishment for his actions. That is collective punishment and is a war crime.
Do not rely on your whiteness or port of entry to give you a false sense of security. Currently a German citizen apprehended in CA and a British citizen apprehended in WA are both being held indefinitely.

Please refrain from lumping all veterans into one group. I’m a veteran that relies on the care I receive from the VA and I am not a trump supporter. Just as thinking all the liberals and minorities that live in red states deserve the suffering they didn’t vote for is barbaric, so is this

This is a really dark thing to say and I might delete it if it’s too off base, but as a vet that decidedly does not support trump, I wonder if the ones that don’t are too suicidal
I think people have given up on the idea that there will ever be any sort of health care reform (even though we did see prices frozen on some drugs last administration) and through the clearest sense of Americanism, guns and violence have become the only answer

There are definitely others that seem to participate in these discussions with the sole goal of upsetting people wearing a veneer of of leftist politics while lacking any seeming empathy. I tend to doubt their motives when they seem to only have compassion for some and not all
How did you get out of the country if you don’t mind me asking? I have no idea where I would start if I needed to leave. I’d prefer to go to a blue state if I could but of course that might not be an option. Also do you miss living in the US?
100%. If you look at the language they’re using to describe trans people in their EOs it’s clear as day where they’re heading and considering they’ve begun holding trans people’s passports indefinitely- they don’t want us escaping.
