Everyone gets what you’re saying. It’s not a difficult concept. What they’re trying to tell you is that the symbolism is more important than the value of some cars. The symbolism is destroying an entire company. The Tesla car brand is likely permanently toxic. He’s the richest man in the world. Do you honestly think people think that destroying some cars will bankrupt him? He can afford an entire navy. They’re saying that taking away sources of wealth (mostly inflated) will hit him where it hurts. In his fragile man baby ego.

That is one of my more annoying thoughts. In his child-like rampaging through the most powerful office in the world, he might accidentally do something good like wipe out the cartels or give support to a country that really needs it on the global scale. The cost will be extremely high. Like through the twisted Nazi experiments, we ended up learning a ton about mental health and brain responses that… Well, it’s probably the only way to discover some of those things. But the methodology is unthinkable.

If it’s only 30k, it’s not big enough for that kind of plan. They would have to build a lot more, a lot bigger and a lot faster for that kind of plan to work.

I don’t doubt you on that one but a key difference is at least people need to eat. They could eat better, smarter, etc but it’s needed. Wasting vast resources on “AI” isn’t remotely needed.
There’s a ton of effective LLMs you can run locally. You have to adjust your expectations and or spend some time training it for your needs but I’ve never been like “this isn’t working, I need to drain a lake of water to do what I need to do.”

Eh not always. He’s shown a lot of personal growth in the last 10 years, maybe 15. He saw the problems at the time but he had some Boston blinders of misogyny and misattributed the cause a lot. He seems to have fixed it. Therapy did wonders for him it seems.
