As I said I can fill that with ease. Leaving no space for apps. If I have everything on the separate card that is a non issue. Using USB dongles is not a solution. It’s more crap we have to carry around when we already have an ideal method with the SD card. It takes up practically no space and offers great utility for those who need it. It’s not like they’re using the space on the board saved by taking it out to add new features.

IDK I start getting real sleepy around 1:30. Especially if alcohol is involved. I can push through it but it’s not really a fun time after that.

My LG V20 is starting to have serious issues running apps I need and I’m really bummed about it :(

SD cards are cheaper than paying for more storage on the phone and easier to manage. I have mine loaded up with my entire music library and game roms for emulation as well as a smaller selection of movies. I spend a lot of time at work in places with little to k ow network so it’s great to have on hand. I could fill the storage on any phone available today but I’d be constantly dealing with space when I wanted to install a new app or take video or whatever. I prefer to keep my media library separate.

Same I’m going on almost a decade on both the ones I have in my devices now. If they died I’d replace them for cheap. Breaking is a non-issue. They’re great.

Cool. More phones I won’t buy.

If only there was some kind of “stall” they could put in that would allow multiple people to be in the same restroom and maintain their privacy…

There was a kid who was selling the cheat codes for pokemon he printed off gamefaqs at my school. One of my friends found out I had internet access and asked me if I would get them for him. After I did that some other people asked me as well. Eventually the kid who was selling them got wind of it and got a couple of his other friends together to jump me on the playground at recess. I remember laying on the ground looking up at him standing over me threatening me if I didn’t stop doing that and just thinking “this is really stupid…”

Is the government going to give them a car too? What good is a house to a person that has no transportation. How are they going to get to/from anywhere with how most neighborhoods are set up? There’s nothing in walking distance for them. A better solution would be for the government to tax the shit out of residential property that the owner isn’t living in so they’re incentivized to sell. Then the people that are currently renting can buy, move out of their apartments in more walkable areas and free them up for whatever the government needs to do for the homeless.

So those who want to buy a house but can’t afford it are still fucked. Cool.

I am unfortunately not so lucky. My brother’s idiot wife jumped right on board as soon as it was available. Even after I told them how terrible of an idea it was.

No. Who decides what’s a “potentially dangerous” individual? Obviously rapists and murderers are a low bar but what if they decide to start using it for lesser crimes or protesters? Or to persecute “undesirables”? Our current administration is a great example of why having this information available to the government is a terrible idea. Any safeguards can easily be stripped away.

Yeah, I’m not arguing with you, it’s just a pain in the ass to deal with. I don’t mind seeding the shit I download at all but it shouldn’t be a fucking competition when it’s a requirement to download stuff. Obviously they’re not hurting for seeders. IMO a better metric would be having a required seeding time (which they do anyway) and let you download as much as you want as long as you seed it long enough. Like you said I’ll never hit a positive ratio, even doing things your way I doubt I’d find enough shit I wanted to build up a big ratio. I’ll just keep doing what I’m doing and rely mainly on public trackers and use the private ones only when I can’t find what I’m looking for. I actually have quite a high ratio on both the private trackers I use just from seeding stuff for a long time and trading points in so I can download stuff, it just doesn’t help my ratio.

For that to work I’d have to know what I’m looking for in advance… I don’t really have enough media exposure for that. I usually find out about shows/movies I might be interested in after they’ve been out for months.
