Easy. I’ve got Google Messages, Signal, Telegram, Slack, FB Messenger, and Nextcloud Talk.

My rooted Pixel 9 Pro has RCS enabled. Just needed the Play Integrity Fix patch installed through Magisk. Though I think Google is changing that in May, so we’ll see what happens.

US carriers are wise to that already. The biggest cost with US carriers is data - one can get a really cheap no-data plan with texting and calling for next to nothing, but a data-only SIM will still be like $20/mo at the minimum.

Is it unfair? Absolutely. Unfortunately we in the US always get the shaft because corporations have much more power than the people.

Rightly so. OS shouldn’t matter one bit. If the customer is paying for a service, then that service should be rendered as paid for, or else it should be discounted.

Because the man has charisma and he says whatever the fuck he wants with confidence, regardless of the actual facts. You also overestimate the education of the average person. By and large, people are stupid and just do what they’re told. Add those two together, then give the people an effigy to burn for their struggles, and you have gestures broadly.

That was another reason I went with progressive, my motorcycle is covered under them.

I’ve had USAA for over a decade. I never looked at other quotes because I knew USAA had the best coverage. Until my premium kept increasing despite a flawless history. I searched around, progressive had the best quote. I now have better coverage than before (I matched everything first, then increased as I saw fit) and pay significantly less.

They’re all shit. I used to manage a body shop.

That’s a very apt comparison, and I would bet cold hard cash that there are people who act exactly like that on a cruise.

I just bought car insurance. Switched from USAA to Progressive and saved a shitload. USAA hasn’t been a good deal for a while now.

THAT SAID - Progressive is always trying to get me to turn on “accident detection” on my phone. Fuck that, I know exactly what they do with that data, it’s not happening.
