I do agree with you. While the health concerns with dogs are valid, I do feel like there should be some designated dog friendly places. It can get really difficult to arrange your schedule around so that the dog doesn’t stay at home for too long. I live with my mom and my boyfriend, and we almost never go places with the 3 of us as a group.

Also, health issues aside, as far as being disruptive, I feel like kids can be just as disruptive. With so many businesses disallowing dogs, it can sometimes feel like you’re almost being punished for having a dog.

This one guy responds: “This sure seems like a lot of cuts given the limited number of job losses that I’ve read about. Is this just a political statement? While I wish the federal government would spend more on parks, I’m questioning my substantial donations at this point if efforts aren’t being made to make the best of the situation.”

To be fair, a lot of the do lean blue and are livid. But there are a lot of angry boomers on FB.

I really hope that this is what’s gonna happen.

I’m a member of a lot of hiking communities on FB. Prior to Trump second presidency, they would blame any kind of problems related to insufficient budgeting to “ sending all money to Ukraine”. Now that he’s the president, and is BLATANTLY cutting budgets to national parks and forests, I see his supporters say “ it’s too bad we donated so much money to the national parks of Ukraine” or “ if Biden did this, you wouldn’t be complaining”, or some version of “ this is necessary, nothing really changed”.

This is starting to sound a lot like the typical Russian mentality.

That’s what I said to myself when he won to calm myself down.

I too really wish people didn’t feed the trolls.

I really agree with this , as a fellow American.

Thank you so much for doing your part. I don’t blame you for feeling defeated. I hate defeatist attitudes, but it’s hard not to feel like that.

God, I so wish that an average American was smart enough to realize this. I feel like all they care about are their gas prices.

Just to clarify, in Russian and Ukrainian “costume” means “suit”.

As a Ukrainian who lives in the US, I couldn’t watch this shit and now I’m even more depressed.

Not only that, but “peace“ deal with Putin will only benefit Putin, as it will give him time to regroup and improve his strategy, while the military aid to Ukraine stops. Then he’ll say: “oh shit! Ukraine is attacking us again! They broke the peace deal” and continue the invasion.
