I haven’t tested them, but my understanding is that on a faster gaming PC, it’s a better experience than the Switch. My understanding is also that the frame rate on the Steam Deck isn’t great for them, especially TotK, and that BotW is more playable on Steam Deck with Cemu. I don’t like Nintendo, but agreed, if you’re going to make an argument, make it factually. $90 for “physical” copies, but that’s more like the maximum instead of the minimum.
It hasn’t been my experience that Deck emulates Switch games better than the Switch, unless you mean 3rd party titles running on Proton instead of being emulated, in which case, I’d agree. For example, haven’t been able to get a solid 60fps on MK8 in split screen mode.

The broken trust during his presidency was largely responsible for the USA going from its first black president to its first orange one.

I found this video interesting about how music doesn’t have the same value to Gen Z as it does to Millennials. I remember in high school, what kind music you listened to often determined your friends group. I was a new kid in the 10th grade sitting at a table by myself at lunch wearing a Korn shirt, and my soon to be friends group for my remaining years in high school invited me to their table based on my shirt. Not sure if Gen Z cares about music in the same way, since it has been highly commoditized now, and it seems that digital distribution at least contributed to this situation.

It’s a jack of all trades for sure, but it also has features paid software doesn’t, like its 2d animation system with Grease Pencil. There are also paid extensions on BlenderMarket and the like that make it more competitive with more specialized features in other software. Extensions are GPL licensed, so I’m happy to pay for them as opposed to the rest of the toxic CG ecosystem where everything is subscription-only.

I wish all paid software were GPL. It’s nice buying something and being able to look at and change the code, write code that calls their code, or even snag a bit of it for to use in your own thing.
