Proton as a service provider is still safe despite their CEO being a political twit.
That twit was allowed to use the company’s Mastodon account to double-down on his shitty political post
Not only that, Kodansha is ridiculously money-grubbing in the space. They’re continually trying to push for pay-per-chapter monetization instead of a basic subscription model like Shonen Jump does.
Not only that, Kodansha’s newest app, KManga, has 21 trackers in it to sell off user data. For context, Facebook only has 9 trackers.
Didn’t Vimm’s Lair get taken down last year?
The IP checker you linked likes to flag false positives. I just checked it on my phone and it claimed that my IP address was being leaked, despute me using a VPN and the IP they listed being my VPN’s server
Just for anyone randomly stumbling upon this thread: make sure to throroughly check the picture of a listing. Look for LSI cards specifically. They have been purchased by 2-3 other companies, but you absolutrly need to do your research to make sure the manufacturer badge on the card is one of those companies. Don’t just trust the title of the listing
On your point about SAS cards, some sellers will post “IT Mode” in their product listing even if the card can never be flashed to IT mode. I know because it happened to me
I have 1 more question.
I have multiple drives in my server: 1 drive for the OS and a RAID array for bulk storage and a NAS. At the start of your guide you mentioned that this setup is for a single drive.
How would the steps of the guide change for a setup like mine? Should I still install everything on the OS drive like you did and point to the RAID array later? Or should all of the docker setup be done on the RAID array at the start?
You are correct. I wish I had made that connection awhile ago. Thanks for the help!
Open up the Adguard home setup on YOUR_SERVER_IP:3000.
OP, could you please explain how to do this? Just typing in the command (yes, I’m entering in my IP address where instructed) results in the response ‘command not found’
Is PrivateVPN the same as PrivateVPNAccess?
No, make sure you read the top response to that comment. Pulsewidth omitted the original post by the CEO. Not only that, this was Pulsewidth’s first post. Not concrete proof of astroturfing, but it’s pretty sus
Main downside of Mullvad is no port forwarding anymore
Better yet, Peertube
Dude, just stop commenting in this thread. You’ve had nothing but absolutely shit takes
