  • I’m happy since years with Renault - first we got a kinda old Megane, that really was awesome and my wife really had her heart in it

So, when it was time to sell, because repairs would have cost us more than it’s value, we were lucky that they brought out a Megane E-Tech (EV) and it just really is great
It could have some higher charging speeds, but it drives like a dream and the power of the e motor is nothing to compare with (well, besides other EVs)

It’s a rather small car, but it’s perfect for the city and we can still fit our snowboard/skis for such trips.
And shortly after we got it, we were driving on a highway with a 100km/h in a tunnel. Besides us was a tuned up Porsche and naturally we had a little race after the speed limit was lifted.
The Porsche driver couldn’t keep up with the acceleration and you could really see his face getting red and more red, because his expensive tuned Porsche couldn’t keep up with our efficient city cruiser

It’s also great to get by cyclist in the city, because you instantly have the torque you need, and don’t need to shift back and hope to hit the right spot of the engine.
There is pretty much no latency and…we just fucking fell in love with it

It’s a really great car and I don’t know, why Renaults seem to be not available in the USA

  • Just plant some poppies and make yourself a tea

Much cheaper than heroin or fenta, still gives you enough of a buzz, and it can be bio and you know where it comes from without all the possible dirt in it.

I guess, you didn’t really mean it, but if someone really thinks about fenta or H as a substitute for alcohol or medical opiates, please consider this alternative, as you have much more control of what you put into your body.
And a tea holds up for like 24h, in comparison to a much shorter timeframe with H or fenta - which in those cases is/was a good thing, as you can dosage it much better e.g. during surgery.
But for pain relief or just recreational stuff, short lived opiates are the devil, as you need to obviously take it more often - and with that, the little thing in your head will always say “oh come on, just a little bit more this time, I had a bad day/I deserved it today”

As said, I’m pretty sure your post wasn’t serious, but people in such a situation should still consider safer and more cost effective alternatives.

  • Ouch

I still don’t get how people like to but have physical buttons in a car.
I do have most things at physical buttons and even the little stuff I need to do at the main screen is getting on my nerves, because I need to hit the correct space on the screen while driving (like confirming something or cancelling a route or something)
And even that feels like a major safety issue

Can’t understand how people drive a Tesla, where even the speed of their windshield wipers are to be found somewhere in a sub menu

  • Well, depends on what you need to restart.

If it’s just a service or two, then it’s pretty quick.

Obviously you need to know, what you’re doing.
And I think that’s pretty hard with windows, because it never tells you, what it’s actually doing during an update.

With Linux it’s much more transparent and often the restart of a service is just part of my update routine.
No need to close and save all my open stuff, and reboot. Just restart the few services that got an update and that’s pretty much it.

So, really depends on the update, the transparency of it and also the personal insight/skill

  • Well, no nation can function without it’s citizens, else there would be no workers.

It’s much more to get a critical mass of people to act in the same way, because they’re fed up.
If that critical mass is reached it doesn’t matter how strong the military is. If they shoot everybody down, there would be no nation anymore.

But it’s hard to reach that critical mass, as politics like to divide an conquer, and let the people fight against each other, because they just blame a specific group of people for some problem.
It’s always the all over shadowing enemy, that is just a small minority we can hate eradicate easily, because they are weaker.
As long as people fall for the fascist bullshit, we won’t see any reasonable grass roots mass movements happening, because one group falls after another and so they all need to fight for themselves.

Maybe I got off track a little in the end, but I tried to sew it together still ;-)
