If someone is trying to use a particular text to justify their shitty behavior, the ability to point to that very text can be useful when criticizing their actions.

If nothing else, either you or they will probably learn something from the interaction.

Non-Christian and non-Bible person here, but I think it’s probably best to be accurate about citing these things:

Thank you for sharing your perspective and informing us that cowardly evasion of accountability in the execution of inhumane operations is a common practice in the service. Some folks out there might not have suspected this already.

Next time you go, try riding inside of the train. It’s much more comfortable and safe in there.
