Fully agree. It’s just not sanitary either, and I know everyone will assume I mean their dog is dirty. I mean that any animal brings unknown elements into a place that makes food. One good shake of a wet dog and you have dirt and debris flying around people eating, and you’re exactly right things like that may affect others way more even if it doesn’t affect you.

I’m okay with dogs in places like breweries, it’s still a risk but as long as there is plenty of space it’s probably fine. Food though adds a whole other element that I don’t think they belong in.

I’ve definitely noticed the younger ones are used to asking any question and having it simply answered. They grew up with the internet, it’s obvious I suppose, and chatgpt is just going to make that worse. The juniors and entry-level people coming in are smart, but I feel like I’m seeing lower problem solving and critical thinking.

Nope. It was a BuzzFeed thing about a very very feminist person talking about how gaming only appeals to men. I am feminist, and the piece still got a massive eyeroll from me. They cherry picked a few things and said because of those things gaming was only catering to men.

IIRC one of the examples was an NPC in GTA 5 making a sexist comment. In GTA 5, which is of course a parody of modern culture, completely out of context.

That’s how you know it’s all for show. People casually forget you can rent trucks for 20 dollars a day too. “Oh well I’m glad I have it for towing and moving”. Bull. How often do you tow really? And even then I’d expect it to sit at home most of the time. Moving? Once a year. Rent a truck. I go to home Depot and rent theirs when I need it.

Buying a truck like that shows you are way too worried about what people think of you, you have to feel “big”, which usually means you’re a small man, and probably bad with money.

We basically punish people for not owning a vehicle. Truly for anyone disagreeing, if your car broke down and you didn’t have another option, how do you get groceries from your house? Or get to work? Now if your disabled imagine that too.

Okay, let’s pause there. God is infinite and all powerful, correct? So, that means, in true infinity and all power, no matter what he is doing with his Devine plan, there are infinite alternative ways he could have achieved it. That’s infinity. If there aren’t, then he’s not infinite. If he can’t do some of those infinite ways, then he is not all powerful.

If he can do any of those infinite ways, then he chose this one, the one that destroyed homes and lives, he chose it out of infinite other options that wouldn’t have destroyed people. There exist infinite other paths, he chose the destructive one.

So God is either not all powerful, and he’s just a guy trying his best, which hey, good trying and I understand, but not “God” then. Or he’s sadistic and chooses this.

That is the one that broke my faith.
