The president is attempting to start multiple wars and isolating us from all allies. They’ve gutted the programs put in place to prevent the next major terrorist organization from forming. They’re taking active steps to make climate change less survivable even as its effects are already here. Socially we’ve been degenerating for years, Obama was a pretty lie about our ability to improve as a society. Not even to mention the economy is going to collapse.

America is hitting empire ending issues and half of them are being actively caused by the leader of the empire!

Honestly, Idiocracy might be the good ending to America. Not only was camacho objectively better than Trump at his job, but the underlying logic of most of the setting was strong too. Increased child protections? That’s good! Even if i don’t think Carl’s Junior should handle that. Advanced and easy medical system? Hell yeah! Legalized sex work? You love to see it! Heck, they might have kept capitalism but at least the apparent good guy in the system took over.

I’d like to point out you are legally allowed to follow your state’s stand your ground laws against police and federal agents. My favorite example of that in action is a case from Texas where a man killed a bunch of cops illegally entering his home and got off a free man, mainly because it’s hilarious that Texas has to choose between licking boot and snorting gunpowder.

No, companies should cut ties with stock markets (because they literally don’t help the company) and foster a relaxed, human culture. Even if we remain under the yoke of capitalism that type of investment hurts companies and society in the long run and developing a culture that doesn’t make the world worse helps even the uber wealthy.

Does losing investors actually mean anything? They wouldn’t be there to begin with if the company didn’t already make money, and it’s only specific types of investors that literally don’t help a company at all that care about the company growing forever. A real investor just wants their money back plus however much they negotiated for over time.
