I really hope your coworker is in their late 50s or 60s so they get the full dose of ‘the way things should be’
I still don’t want to think he’s a bad person, but for me, why he is a bad person is because zero “too-big-to-fail” CEOs went to jail during the immediate aftermath of the '08 crisis.
I liked Obama, but he (like every president) is a bad person. You cannot be a good person and be president (except for maybe Carter, but he’s something else), because every president is a war criminal to some extent. Obama expanded and normalized the drone bombing of brown people and tons of other awful shit.
I hope he’s sending thoughts and prayers.
Quick, someone invite him skiing or on a small aircraft!
. I remind her that they arent going out of business, but she just says she read it, and its true.
“If what you read was true mom, why have we been having this conversation about them going out of business for 5 years?”
Ah, republicans. Where “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” doesn’t apply because their brains are broken so they can’t tell that everything around them isn’t broken
the goal of Elon Musk is to save us from a lifetime of “tyranny”
He wants to save us from the tyranny of check notes trans people existing and women having basic rights.
clearly Elon Musk is a basic bottom beta bitch.
If he wasn’t rich, he’d be an incel, Dude just radiates those nice guy vibes.
Wow, look at that fake nazi in the background smh my head
Cursed cabbage patch bob ross
Those who won’t will get them on a sale later.
/C/patientgamers represent!
I’ll gladly wait 3-5 years to play a $90 retail game for $10-20. There are already too many games in my library to play, I don’t need to piss away $100 on a game I’ll be bored with in 2 months.
Oh wow, I didn’t realize physical manufacturing, storage, transport and sale was only $10!
That’s all well and good for how it started, but we’re way down the thread and conversations evolve. And I responded where I did for a reason
If I had a response on what to do, I would have responded to your question instead of trying to expand on another posters point.
I don’t have to propose anything to point out the flaws in the party.
And I’m saying this as someone who generally votes for them. Stop treating every response as if we have to provide some grand solution when pointing out the shit they’re doing wrong. I’m not a policy wonk, so I don’t know the best path forward. But I can still recognize when a bed has been thoroughly shat.
Because Republicans vote in lockstep but Democrats don’t.
The point that (I think) they’re trying to make is that the democrats always have N+1 politicians who will be the ratfuckers of the party; your Machin, Sinema, Lieberman, etc. No matter how the numbers work out, there always seems to be juuuuust enough ratfuckers in the party that the big legislations never get through without getting the back broken for capital.
Man, you just made me sad by remembering that my local Pub D that didn’t give a shit about kids, dogs, or weird sex shit is closing down. Sucks cuz it’s the only openly LGBTQ+ bar in the area that I’m aware of.
What about the idiots who chose to stay home and not vote at all. They may not have voted for it, but they weren’t voting against it either, and ambivalence in the face of fascism is tacit support.
You should be safe as long as you don’t use an elevator with/owned by an eccentric billionaire inventor.
Unfortunately, I have a very bad connotation to people calling out noses. But, I also had Jewish friends as a kid, so…
