Diseases say fuck your borders.
Diseases say fuck your borders.
On the plus side civil unrest in the US requiring a stronger domestic military presence means the US may have less support to wage war on other countries. That’s easier to do when the population is calmly falling in line.
Americans are capable of riots, but it seems to require so marination before some trigger event happens on their soil that causes emotions to suddenly spark.
Teslas for a long time though seemed more like a status symbol as opposed to the more affordable car it became recently, so hard to feel bad for them.
Yeah he blew his opportunity to take advantage of the other two playing the role of Ellen Pao by removing all doubt that he is the same by ramping the vocal participation and drawing increased publicity.
Who doesn’t associate elon with donald though? They are like the more closely tied political duo in the world where every action is seen as one.
For Ellen Pao to work one of them would have had to remain relatively unknown and forgettable.
If anyone is going to benefit from the Ellen Pao it’s people like peter thiel who are in the background while the loud duo is drawing all the attention and credit to themselves.
Yep buying used is the route to go to not directly source a company with new revenue.
Every comment can be argued to be an attempt to try to convince people of a certain viewpoint.
Including this one pointing out the comment posted was a long laid out argument trying to change someone’s perspective of current events. ha
Even better reason to make Americans suffer and become weaker. Weaken their world influence and weaken the good will they were able to abuse to monopolize their military industrial complex and sell their goods.
This generation will suffer greatly but in the long run the move towards less dependency on the US is for the better. The US needs to lose their ability to hold the world hostage in the future.
No half measures when it comes to assholes who always flip flop on their threats.
Ukraine security and Europe and Canada and Mexico and Asia hinges on a weakened US and Russia. I am very serious about wanting all countries to have nukes.
And not just one but enough to scare even the biggest country away from attacking even the smallest country.
Have had enough of this benevolent dictator business when it comes to hoping the world power isn’t too abusive.
Make US weak again and never ever let them become strong again. Let’s go rest of the world. Let those war factories roar back to life and become less reliant on US military industry. And everyone should have nukes.
Can it be called a minority when more people voted for trump? And can’t just assume people who didn’t vote wouldn’t support him.
Bigger question is how many Americans not in the military would willingly sign up to fight against Canada, and what would happen if there started being drafts. Even supporters of wars turn out to be cowards when they or their children are actually forced to participate.
So that is likely the scenario that would turn trump supporters against the US and lead to inner conflict and unify both sides of the political spectrum.
Hopefully Canada jumps at this too and tries to recruit these former government employees. It’d be too good a chance to miss out on with them sharing the border with a very hostile country.
He could eat a baby in front of them and they’d go from being shocked to figuring out how it was justified. I don’t think anything can shatter the hold he has over his cult followers at this point.
Rest of the world sees the US as a country that is getting closer to the Russians and alienating their former allies like Canada, Mexico, UK, and EU. So make of it what you will when it comes to whether endorsement of the US would be seen positively in other international markets Proton is trying to reach. There’s a growing blanket dislike of the US with no care for parties.
Protons best move is stopping with US centric topics which looking at their socials has been their main marketing focus. Focus on the fact that they are Switzerland instead of so desperately attaching themselves to the US in a world that is seeing more anti US sentiment grow. Which after their blunder with their CEO is not going to run well at all anyways being perceived as disingenuous by critics.
Let memory of US fade when it comes to Proton. That’s what I’d recommend to their marketing team.
Also got curious and looked more into Andy Yen, and he did schooling in the US going to Caltech and Harvard. It seems when it comes to Switzerland it was chosen as a place to start Proton, so unsure if he had ties to the country before hand. So I don’t think the whole he is some foreigner who is completely clueless about American politics can be used as an excuse, and certainly explains the very US centric approach of the company’s marketing. Background would suggests this is someone at the very least well aware of American politics and spent a significant time there immersed in the culture.
Protons biggest blunder of being able to pass it off as the opinions of one CEO was doubling down and going further into their thoughts on US politics from their Proton reddit account. Then editing and deleting comments when their attempts at damage control failed.
That’s the most interesting thing about all this. That they felt compelled enough to speak on it and then just dug themselves in further. And that’s their attempt at a palatable mainstream explanation. So it is intriguing wondering about what they actually believe.
At this point they’d be better off saying we don’t know anything about US politics we were out of our depth and trying to market ourselves to Americans saying things that we believed made us sound good. But in the end we are Switzerland based company not a US one.
I hope for a Linux phone to pop up and become widespread someday. Maybe if Android emulation on Linux improves so people can at the very least use Android apps while running Linux a phone like that might become a possibility in the future.
Has America even given a reason to be given the benefit of the doubt on anything since the asset to Russia came into power?
