Imagine Joe Manchin’s inner monologue.
That.

The more telling thing, though, is that a lot of leftists decided that Trump would somehow be better for Gazans than Harris
A lot of centrists decided that trump was preferable to ending their support for genocide.
I voted for harris. You don’t have to convince me. Also, the election is over and you don’t have to carry water for her anymore.
Just because centrists got their only wish and we didn’t have a choice to vote against genocide, that doesn’t mean we don’t get to gripe about it.
I haven’t seen anyone here shit on Sanders
bloomcole’s all over this thread doing exactly that.
His big worry is re-election, not the people this will hurt.
I’m glad to see that people here aren’t reveling in looming economic disaster just because it might mean that their team gets to be in power.
Reclaim the powers and nullify all tariffs that have been imposed by Trump since his inauguration.
Why stop with trump’s tariffs?
Sounds to me like AIPAC is picking its battles, then. Because Sanders, Tlaib, and AOC were all up for reelection, all defied AIPAC, and all three won re-election.
AIPAC is powerful, yes, but not omnipotent.
Genocide is morally reprehensible and loud and constant opposition is the only way that it becomes politically toxic enough that no one dares support it.
Sorry, not allowed to reply honestly.
Pretty sure the reasoning was that biden was only barely able to beat trump in 2020 and wouldn’t be able to beat anyone else.
This talking point is just an excuse to shut out AOC.
centrists support genocide and then blame everyone but themselves when genocide support isn’t a winning issue outside of their wing of the party.
Oh, no, it’s an absolute disaster for our country. But it’s a simple fact that any US politican who dares defy AIPAC will be denied office.
We just had an election. How are there 15 votes remaining outside of the genocide caucus?
How is letting donvict into office helping?
How is equating opposition to genocide with “letting donvict into office” helping anything? All you’re doing is downplaying genocide support, while as always blaming people who don’t support genocide for harris’ loss.
Yes, but only about a third of the senate is up for re-election each time. schumer’s term doesn’t end until 2028.
You seem almost joyous that a foreign interest straight up buys candidates.
By anyone. It’s not like democrats were particularly interested.
netanyahu didn’t write it.
