However the cherry on top was that the Italiens were playing our anthem to thank us for our part in the multinational mission and the ending of our stint. And as if that wasn’t enough, the commander was on the bridge and was watching me hoisting the eagle in the “barfing position” (German Armed Forces have the state insignia the eagle on the flag, hence he was barfing upside down)
It’s probably an honest mistake. It’s not like his supports can read well.
